Vindolanda Bronze Standard

The original Vindolanda horse standard was found in 1971: it is made of copper alloy and is mounted on a hollow octagonal base, which is round on the inside to fit a dowel. It is a find that is very dear to the hearts of the Vindolanda team and has become a symbol of the Trust.

This replica has been produced in bronze by Historic Jewellery Reproduction exclusively for the Vindolanda Trust.

The bronze standard is 12cm tall and weighs 225g.

This item comes in a wooden presentation chest.
