About us Our Collection Blogs Ethical and Sustainable Buying at the Trust The Trust is conscious that to reduce its carbon footprint it needs to evaluate many of its suppliers in our shops and cafes. We also feel that it is important that the products we sell meet our standards within ethics and sustainability as well as, where possible, are locally produced. In the cafes, we use local, ethical and fair traded suppliers. Here are just a few examples: Northumbrian Tea – is sourced from producers who strive to improve the welfare of their workers and families.
