Accessible Trench Talks

Understand the archaeological excavations with a multi-sensory experience from our accessible Activity Centre with our trench talks.

You will get an update on the ongoing live excavations of Magna Fort, Milecastle 46 and the Vallum from our brand new, accessible, activity centre. Ask questions and experience an interactive map of the excavation site. In between talks, check out our Dig Diary for a behind the scenes look at the excavations throughout the season.

These are free to ticket holders of the Roman Army Museum.

Join us and the Hadrian’s Wall Learning and Engagement Forum for a day of virtual activities themed around Hadrian’s Wall. The archaeologists and their teams of volunteers will be out Mon - Fri weather permitting. Come see history as it is uncovered. There will be no excavations at Vindolanda in July & August.
